This is a new SIP Voice product variant from MSA which allows MS Teams customers using their Microsoft Cloud PBX to directly connect to the public phone network without the need to deploy and manage on premise SBC's or voice trunks. Customer external voice traffic will be routed using a Carrier Grade Telephony network carried via IP (using Session Initiated Protocol - SIP). It includes the following :

1. Over-The-Top Sip Service - BYO Internet
2. Supports upto 500 SIP Voice sessions/lines
3. Full geographic redundancy
4. Carrier grade MS Teams certified SBC's
5. Trusted and Secure SSL authentication and encryption between SBC's and the Microsoft Cloud PBX
6. Direct In-dail Number ranges (Ported or New)
7. G.711 as the default Codec Protocol (~100Kbps per call)

For a customer to enable direct routing, the following components are required :

• Microsoft E5 or E3 + Microsoft Phone System Licences Subscription
• MSA cloud based certified Session Border Controller (SBC)
• MSA SIP Voice Trunks
